late July 2010: We think we lucked into the best room in the house: room 305 is on a corner, and the cross ventilation with windows open was delicious in Europe's hottest summer in 40 years. The airconditiioning also worked a treat, and the room's spaciousness and elegance meant we felt like we'd won Lotto after three nights in a broom closet in St Petersburg. Staff were helpful, breakfasts generous with excellent choice, and you are right on the wall of the medieval old town, so you can't get lost! Absolute value for money - I would certainly stay there again.

very nice hotel in the old city center. stuff is very friendly, rooms are clean and quiet. also, there id a good restaurant and bar. I had a very pleasant stay.
